“F.D.A. 0ffers Arsenic Limit In Rice Cereal For Babies"

By Catherine Saint Louis

The Food and Drug Administration proposed on Friday a limit for inorganic arsenic in infant rice cereal, saying that this common food starter is a leading source of exposure to the toxin.”

How is that for protection for babies being fed rice cereal? All you have to do is trust the Food and Drug Administration and the companies that produce baby foods. What aren’t you being told about toxic contaminates in –not only baby foods—but also many other foods you consume beyond babyhood?

That does not include the possibility of arsenic in the water that you drink!

ARSENIC

“In the United States, arsenic is most commonly found in the ground waters of the southwest.[90] Parts of New England, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and the Dakotas are also known to have significant concentrations of arsenic in ground water.[91] Increased levels of skin cancer have been associated with arsenic exposure in Wisconsin, even at levels below the 10 part per billion drinking water standard.[92] According to a recent film funded by the US Superfund, millions of private wells have unknown arsenic levels, and in some areas of the US, over 20% of wells may contain levels that exceed established limits.”[93

TRUST! WHO TO TRUST?

It seems that everything today is framed in politics. I hope that this presentation is received for what it is, a truthful, non-political article. Arsenic in your food and water affects people of all political and religious persuasions and of all ages. As for myself, I have no political ambitions. As for you, be wary of politicians of all stripes. Truth is a rare finding.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

As in my previous article, LEAD IN YOUR WATER  (Click Here), check with your state environmental protection agency or the federal Food and Drug Administration about any suspected arsenic in your food and water. Good luck!
