Don’t look for truth cause it ain’t out there!
Everybody lies to get somewhere!
What good is the truth it don’t pay no bills.
It gets you in bad when you got no skills.
Take for example my last interview.
I needed that job so I lied and he knew.
I knew that he knew but I lied just the same.
Even though I knew to him t’was a game.
I’m here cause they say you got a job.
Sure I went to college, I ain’t no slob.
Who did I work for and why’d I quit?
His name was Johnson. He gave me shit!
What college I went to? It slipped my mind.
I heard him laugh and hate made me blind!
I don’t recall, as I closed the door,
That I hit him and left him out on the floor.
