The Ten Commandments UPDATE (6-10)

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS UPDATE (6 thru 10)

with the revelation of...

SEDATED SIN

Just in case you have been too busy to keep up with how you have been living up to the TEN COMMANDMENTS (6 thru 10) and your score on the Heavenly Sin Chart, fear not. Salvation is at hand. If you are a true believer, you may have entered that heavenly abode of SEDATED SIN.

Let us, first, compare the old version of the TEN COMMANDMENTS (6 thru 10) to the modern, updated version and its interpretation. For those of you who use terms like thy, thou, shalt; now you may want to add the modern word UNLESS. For example: Thou shalt not commit adultery UNLESS... The rest is up to you. Make your UNLESS reasonable enough (in your opinion) and GOD is sure to forgive you by SEDATNNG your sin.

Let us take a look at the last 5 of the TEN COMMANDMENTS (6 thru 10) and you can see how you measure up to the modern, updated interpretation and revelations by adding the word UNLESS:

6. THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY...(UNLESS)

COMMANDS: chastity in word and deed.
FORBIDS: obscene speech; impure actions alone or with others.
 Extra marital affairs!

7. THOU SHALT NOT STEAL...(UNLESS)

COMMANDS: respect for the property of rights and others; the paying of just debts; paying just wages to employees; integrity in public office.
FORBIDS: theft; damage to the property of others; not paying just debts; not returning found or borrowed articles; giving unjust measure or weight in selling; not paying just wages; bribery; graft; cheating; fraud; accepting stolen property; not giving an honest day's work for wages received;
breach of contract

8. THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS AGAINST THY          NEIGHBOUR...(UNLESS)

COMMANDS: truthfulness; respect for the good name of others; the observance of secrecy when required.
FORBIDS: lying; injury to the good name of others; slander; tale bearing; rash judgment; contemptuous speech and the violation of secrecy.

9. THOU SHALT NOT COVET THY NEIGHBOUR'S WIFE...(UNLESS)

COMMANDS: purity in thought.
FORBIDS: willful impure thought and desires.

10. THOU SHALT NOT COVET THY NEIGHBOUR'S GOODS...(UNLESS)

COMMANDS: respect for the rights of others.
FORBIDS: the desire to take, to keep, or damage the property of others.

ADDING THE UNLESS FACTOR  MAY PROVIDE YOU WITH...

SEDATED SIN

EXAMPLE

6. THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY UNLESS...

THOU DOIST WITH A PURE HEART FILLED WITH JOY.

COMMANDS: chastity in word and deed.
FORBIDS:
obscene speech; impure actions alone or with others.  Extra marital affairs!

WHO’S GOING TO KNOW or CARE?

Hopefully, it will be an understanding between you and GOD! The problem is that you have no way of knowing how many UNLESSES and to what degree you use UNLESS that GOD will tolerate before unleashing upon you personal punishment (PP).

No one is too low or too high to escape God’s PP. Certainly those who view themselves as the high and mighty are more than likely to be scrutinized by God and receive his PP.

 Amen
